Here are some of our most frequently asked questions.

Exceptional content can mean different things to different people, but what it’s definitely not is the same recycled information that everyone else is publishing!
For your clients, exceptional content answers their most pressing questions with authoritative and insightful analysis and actionable guidance—at the right time and in the right place. It is proactive and sometimes provocative. Clients who read it feel understood and informed, and see you as a trusted resource.
For firms, exceptional content enables you to deliver value to your clients, demonstrates your indispensable knowledge and perspective, and helps you stand out in a noisy and competitive marketplace. And it aligns with your marketing and business development goals, helping you make the most of opportunities in your markets.
For us, exceptional content is where we live. It’s our commitment and our passion. We’re writers and editors who believe that powerful content can be the rocket fuel that powers business growth. And while we love and rely on technology to do our work, we know exceptional content can’t really be written by robots.

We work best with AmLaw 200 firms that understand that content, done right, drives marketing and business development—whether that’s attracting new clients or deepening relationships with existing clients. Most of our clients have some professional marketing resources, strategy and infrastructure already in place, but have resource gaps that prevent them from really taking advantage of opportunities. They often have already identified lawyers or practice groups who need more visibility but don’t have the time or resources to commit to consistently developing content. Our best clients also understand that they can get the value of working with an outsourced team of writers, editors and marketing professionals on targeted content initiatives without the added expense of hiring full time employees—or using up the billable client hours of their lawyers.

Legal content is what we do best—every member of our team has experience working with legal content, whether as a lawyer, paralegal, marketing professional, writer or editor. We’ve also worked with clients who are legal services-adjacent. That said, we can and do work with professional services firms that are not in the legal market.

We work with your marketing, leadership teams and lawyers in ways most freelance writers and marketing consultants don’t. Our initial starting point is often the Marketing Department—the firm’s Chief Marketing or Business Development Officer, Communications or Business Development Director, or sometimes a Practice Manager. Once the plan or project has been scoped out, we typically work directly with lawyers and practice leadership to get the content flowing. We understand law firm culture, and can bridge the distance between lawyers and marketing professionals to deliver the exceptional content that makes everyone happy!

What are your content marketing goals and objectives?
Is your content getting stuck somewhere in the pipeline? Is this a process or resource issue?
Do you need help launching a new content initiative or with an already existing program?
Do you have a content process or do you need help developing one?
What kinds of marketing technologies and resources do you already have in place? (for example, CRM system, website, blogs, social media)
What other challenges are you facing, content-wise?

Most of our clients have our content team on a retainer that covers a specific scope of work, providing cost consistency and guaranteed resourcing for their initiatives. Many of our engagements start on an hourly rate basis until the process and the scope of the work required is clear. We can also work on a project arrangement for discrete initiatives that have a defined scope of work and specific start/finish dates.
